Participated in the assault and capture of Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands, as a member of the 5th Marine Division during the period of 19 February 1945 to 27 March 1945.
Born: 1925 Detroit, MI
Died: 1982 Reno, NV (56 years old)
Father of six children (all girls), step-father of two. Retired from Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. after a long career in computer programming.
